City of Compton- Street Rehabilitation Project

The City CIP Plan to rehabilitate the City Streets with AC Overlay, Slurry Seal, ADA Ramps, Traffic Signals relocations, modify curb, gutter & sidewalks. AMC Inc provided construct ability review with City plans and Special Provisions. AMC Inspector verified each street with grades check, rehab evaluation and possible mitigation options. AMC updated all project drawings, quantity estimate, mitigated the Bid quantity with change orders and managed excellent partnering with the contractor.

Project Success:

The project scope was updated with major changes to accommodate the existing streets condition. The project accomplishment with better streets, sidewalk, ADA Ramps, Curb & Gutters with NO additional budget from the CDBG Grant allocation.

NO CLAIM and Under Budget with additional street rehabilitation for various unidentified design locations. It is a major accomplishment for the AMC Inc.to work with major plan changes.
